Requiem for the American Dream
is the definitive discourse with Noam Chomsky, widely regarded as the most important intellectual alive, on the defining characteristic of our time - the deliberate concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a select few. Through interviews filmed over four years, Chomsky unpacks the principles that have brought us to the crossroads of historically unprecedented inequality - tracing a half century of policies designed to favor the most wealthy at the expense of the majority - while also looking back on his own life of activism and political participation. Profoundly personal and thought provoking, Chomsky provides penetrating insight into what may well be the lasting legacy of our time - the death of the middle class, and swan song of functioning democracy. A potent reminder that power ultimately rests in the hands of the governed, REQUIEM is required viewing for all who maintain hope in a shared stake in the future.

More than four years since the financial crisis, not one senior Wall Street executive has faced criminal prosecution for fraud. Are Wall Street executives “too big to jail”? , why the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has failed to act on credible evidence that Wall Street knowingly packaged and sold toxic mortgage loans to investors, loans that brought the U.S. and world economies to the brink of collapse. Through interviews with top prosecutors, government officials and industry whistleblowers, FRONTLINE reports allegations that Wall Street bankers ignored pervasive fraud when buying pools of mortgage loans.

Rosling will once again use holographic-style projection technology to wield his iconic bubble graphs and income mountains to present an upbeat assessment of our ability to achieve that goal by 2030.
Eye-opening, funny and data-packed performances make Rosling one of the world’s most sought-after and influential public speakers. For Don’t Panic: How To End Poverty In 15 Years he innovatively brings to life the challenge of eradicating extreme poverty worldwide, interweaving dramatic statistics with powerful human stories from families in Malawi and Cambodia.

The Trail Of The Troika
What is happening in Europe in the name of the troika? A must-see for anyone who wants to understand the situation in Greece and find out why the austerity policy imposed by Germany has failed. The European Union and International Monetary Fund have lent more than €400 billion to Greece, Ireland, Portugal and Cyprus to keep these countries solvent. The lenders granted enormous power to the three institutions of the so-called troika: the IMF, the European Central Bank and the European Commission. Without any public accountability, the troika is forcing the crisis states to implement policies that are tearing the social fabric of their countries apart. German journalist and best-selling author Harald Schumann traveled to Athens, Lisbon, Dublin, Nicosia, Brussels, Washington, New York and London, in order to find out who has actually benefited from austerity measures. He puts this question to ministers, parliamentarians, economists, bankers, doctors and also to the victims of these policies, the unemployed and the ill. Among the many people he meets are Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman, IMF Director Paulo Batista and Yanis Varoufakis, the newly elected Greek finance minister. Schumann’s revelations are often devastating and shocking. Given the negotiations currently taking place between the newly elected Greek government and their European partners, this film is of great political and economic relevance.

Let’s Make Money
Austrian documentarist Erwin Wagenhofer helms this probing, penetrating and deeply critical look at the economic foundations of neo-liberalism in the early 21st century. Wagenhofer begins with the surface level reality of global finance - that of banks borrowing and lending money from consumers and corporations -and probes deeper to expose the many layers of the economic trade that lie just hidden from view. He thus reveals the unshakable and often frightening connections that exist between lay individuals and the various political schema attached to the world financial markets. This film emerged amid the global financial crisis of 2008, making it a timely effort indeed. Financial experts who turn up as onscreen interviewees/participants include such notables as George Belton, Miguel Angel Torres, Terry Lesueur, Yves Delisle and Hermann Scheer.

Blood and Oil - The Middle East in World War I
Examines the devastating conflict and Western political intrigue that laid the foundation for wars, coups, revolts and military interventions in the Middle East. After the end of World War I, most of the Ottoman Empire was carved up into "spheres of influence," controlled mostly by the British and French. The remaining territories became the modern state of Turkey in 1923 - after a five-year struggle by Turkish nationalists against Western domination. Written and produced by Marty Callaghan ("Archives of War," "Remember Pearl Harbor: America Taken by Surprise"), this feature-length documentary film follows conflict from the Ottoman Empire's entry into the Great War in October 1914 to the Allied victory and declaration of the new Turkish Republic in 1923, and the hostilities that have plagued the region since.

Inequality For All
A documentary that follows former U.S. Labor Secretary Robert Reich as he looks to raise awareness of the country's widening economic gap. At the heart of the film is a simple proposition: what is a good society, and what role does the widening income gap play in the deterioration of America economic health? We are endeavoring for INEQUALITY FOR ALL to be a paradigm-shifting, eye-opening experience for the American public. We want to accurately show through a non-partisan perspective why extreme income inequality is such an important topic for our citizens today and for the future of America.

The Bank of God | Documentary Film

The Bank of God
In this Documentary film we look into financial scandals that have always plagued the Bank of Vatican. The Vatican City is a landlocked sovereign city-state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Rome. Encircled by a 2-mile border with Italy the city covers just over 100 acres, making it one-eighth the size of New York's Central Park. Vatican City is governed as an absolute monarchy with the Pope as its head. And is one of the most sacred places in Christendom. The Vatican mints its own Euros, prints its own stamps, issues passports and license plates, operates media outlets and has its own flag and anthem. The Vatican also has its own bank.
The Vatican bank serves thousands of Catholic charities, religious orders and dioceses around the world, in addition to roughly 500 people living in the tiny city-state. It has some 33,400 accounts and about $8 billion in assets. Yet the Vatican bank's murky finances, which has been suspected for years of being a channel for the laundering of mob profits, perhaps has a skeleton in the closet.
